这一种类最新的修正是 2018年版《中国动物志-艾纳螺总科》，即统一了 Yen 的 Turanena vincentii 和《中国重要地区陆生贝类》中新增出的 Serina vincentii 为同一种。在《中国重要地区陆生贝类》的分类中，将 Serina vincentii 和 Turanena vincentii 分别定义为魏氏金丝雀螺和魏氏小柱螺（最新属名为图灵螺属），有可能是错误分类。历史上对金丝雀螺属 (Serina) 和图灵螺属 (Turanena) 的分类有一些变动（如下表），有几种图灵螺曾经被归到了金丝雀属中，可见金丝雀螺属和图灵螺属在某些情况下容易被错误分类。
